Management Reporter - links in SharePoint 2010

Hello,

I am working to deploy MR 2012 CU8 on SharePoint 2010. The links create fine from MR, but I am not clear on the link URL's, which point to the GP server when a link is clicked (example below):

http://accountingserver:4712/Report.svc/Report/.........

Plus, the first time I clicked on the report link I had to log into the server, even though my account is already assigned permissions for the report in MR as viewer, editor, etc.

Is this normal behavior for MR in SharePoint? Also, I am hoping that users can access the MR reports externally. Any additional steps required to make this happen?

I also noticed that when I added the MR server to trusted sites, that fixed the prompt issue.
