Creating Custom Fields in Navision.

Hello Team,

I found the information to create custom fields it is necessary to use the Object Designer in the NAV Development Environment.

Could you clarify, Is this a free app or does it need to be licensed?

If I add the Custom Field at the Customer and Invoice level, does Navision return Custom Fields via API?

To return customer added fields in the API you need to build a customized API.

If you run Business Central in the cloud as a subscription there is no additional license fee to build your own customizations. But you you run on-premis then object license may apply.

Hi, This is not free on NAV2018 and requires a development license.
