Hi All,
Currently we get US date format in BC. Is there a way to change it to DD/MM/YYYY format?
Just to clarify this is for printed documents ..Currently I have to customize
This will help: docs.microsoft.com/.../format-property
Basic google told me standard format for down under is year-MM-dd so from that list of “standard formats” number 9 looks like the one. So you could do format(“Posting Date”,0,9)
Example shown here: docs.microsoft.com/.../format-function--code--text-
I was more interested in a systemwide setting instead of doing this through code but we can live with it :)
Hi,
Did you try checking the regional settings in your BC settings? Not sure if this will take effect in the documents but usually the issue for date and value separators system wide in BC.
Quick example with the work date - English US:
English Australia:
Hope that helps
Regards,
Martin
Thanks but this doesn't affect documents. Hopefully future version will have localization based date formats in RDLC
