Quarantine Order & Quality Order in DFO

Dear D365 F&O  Gurus:

Can I activate both Quality Order and Quarantine Order in one legal entity for the same items?

    yes, you can use both possibilities in one legal entity.

    What do you mean for different items？

    For the same item, you can simultaneously active quality order by using quality association or creating it manually and enable quarantine management in item model group. You can choose to create connections between these two orders or not. But system wont generate two orders at the same time.

    Thanks.  I have modified my question - I mean Quality & Quarantine for the same items.

    What do you mean by "create connections... and how to do this?

    Currently I have enabled Quarantine Order in Item Model Group.  And enabled Quality Order in Inventory Parameter and define Quality Association.

    I created a PO and generate Receipt List and it generates Quality Order.  At which point the system will generate Quarantine Order?

    Hi Pamskim,

    The connection i mean is that you can create quality order form the quarantine order, just set the reference type as the quarantine order. For example, you want to generate the quarantine order first when register/receive the item, and then automatically generate the quality order before/after the event 'Report as finished'.  If you just set the reference type as Purchase as you show above, the quarantion order can also be displayed when valiation is failed.  How to set it and it is up to your bussiness requirement.
