When does the tooltip warning become an error?

Hey,

Since BC 13 VS Code shows a warning if the tooltip property is not filled.

But in which version of BC will it become an error? Has Microsoft ever said anything about it?

    I believe the warning was there since AL 5.0 (around BC16). It gives warning when you enable CodeCop. As far as I understand, there is no plan to make it error.

    Hi,

    CodeCop is an analyzer that enforces the official AL Coding Guidelines. So the warning about tooltip is related to this. It will not become an error in coming releases.

    • I have go through your question, we have also faced the same errors into our AppSource extension but it was just warning not an error. 
    • As you can see we have downloaded symbol from latest version 17 but, it just showing warning.
