Activity feeds installed but missing Activity Feed Configuration records

Hi,

I installed the Activity Feeds Managed solution from Marketplace, tested it in IE on my dev pc but of course it doesnt work in Chrome and my client has to use Chrome as the IE on their standard desktop is old and incompatible.

Then I read how you could get an updated version, 1.0.3.21214, from UR12.

Found and imported this solution and I can see changes in sitemap and I can add a record wall manually to my custom forms.

However, there are no configuration or rules records.  I didnt get any errors when importing the solution, has anyone any ideas on how to get these so I can use them ?

I know I can create posts from workflow and I will be doing that but I am concerned that something is not right with the solution and will cause problems if I install in Live.

On the Post Import Actions screen, select the box to enable SDK plug-ins. This box must be selected for Activity Feeds to function.

This was ticked and still doesnt work.

I have now proven that the functionality works when I have logged onto the CRM server and tried IE there so its clearly a problem accessing it from my desktop which is on another domain.

Not sure if its bindings but I will continue to investigate.

I have noticed that the urls in Developer Resources specify the server for the discovery service etc. which it cant find in the desktops domain, yet when I manually replace that in the browser with the FQDN the discovery service xml appears so I now need to figure out how to get this crm organisation to use the FQDN for these urls and hope that fixes the problem.

Changed the Deployment Manager URLS in Properties-Web Address to use the FQDN and bindings from HTTP to HTTPS and Activity Feeds now works
