Hi folks... We are trying to consume an external API to integrate with a gateway... As the organization policy we need to integrate using Secure SSL connection. We have been advised to use SSL with Certificate as an authentication method. Has any one worked with similar requirements. Could you please advise how do we validate with certificates from Dynamics 365 online? Please advise

    Hi Mohan,

"use SSL with Certificate as an authentication method", which authentication you are referring to here? Dynamics 365 or your external API?

Could you share some more detail?

We are trying to integrate D365 with an SMS gateway. But according to our org policy we need to have CA signed certificate from the vendor.  We will need to perform the authentication using certificate handshake between CRM online and SMS gateway.

@All, we were able to resolve this by adding a Global CA signed certificate. MS CRM was able to handshake without any customization for CA signed certificate!

How ever for Self signed certificate, we couldnt obtain the handshake which however is not a recommended solution since its not secured!

    Thanks all for your support!

    Regards

    Mohan
