CRM 2016 -Simple option set values displayed as True/False

When the Legacy Form Rendering option to Yes (Settings -->System Settings--General) all the Simple option in all forms renders Selected value as True or False for default selection instead of actual values. On Selection the actual values gets displayed for selection.

If I set the Legacy Form Rendering option to No it Simple option set renders correctly on all the form but since on many of my forms having Javascript which is breaking due to compatibility I have to keep it as Yes.

    This looks like a bug - I suggest that you log with Microsoft support.

    Yes the issue is also there for CRM 2016 online instance.

    I could reproduce this issue only once, but then there was no consistency. I would suggest you to make this field as Mandatory (System Required) and then test if the issue is occurring or not.

    Yes, we can easily reproduce it. It happens only with new records.
