New interface filtering grid not working

I'm facing a problem while trying to filter the rows in an entity grid. I noticed that the options shown within the filter are only for the records presented on the screen and not for all the records available in the entity. If I change the button to deactivate the new interface, all the filter options are shown again.
Do we have a config where we can deactivate this new kind of filtering?
