I believe there has been a recent update that may be causing this issue, any help would be greatly appreciated.
My other team members and I are in the midst of establishing a foothold in Business Central and have been utilising the 'Edit in Excel' option for bulk upload/editing of tables and data.
Recently, the add-in has been prompting the user to log-in upon every opening instance of Excel that connects to BC.
This also occurs, after logging in, when closing and reopening the add-in in the same instance of excel.
Some users are also reporting that there may be a timeout when it prompts for login again and also after publishing sometimes it will prompt - this makes it difficult for data entry when publish fails and is not showing errors because it logs the user out.
Ideally, and this was previous setup, the user was just recognised and logged in from their Microsoft account that was used to license Excel/log into BC and kept logged in.
Any info would help heaps.
