What does the “Tax office” button in the vendor card mean?
 
Addition of 05/12; 2 pm:
It has a 5 mio. no., namely 5052299.
 
 
"Tax Office" is please not to be confused with "tax liable".

    Hello,
     
    This could be some extension field that is added to your Vendor table.
    Click Ctrl+Alt+F1, find that field on the page inspection and see if its ID is one of the listed below.
    If its range is 50k, then it is an extension field of your vendor table and additional information about that field you should ask from your partners. 
     
     
    Change your language to English and check if a translation for that field is Tax Liable, if it is, then below is explanation for that field.
     
    Field Description
    Tax Liable Select to set up tax liability. Important: This field is available on the Purchase Header page, but it isn't shown by default. To select the field, you must first add the column that shows this field. You can change how certain UI elements are displayed. For more information, see Personalize Your Workspace.

    If "Tax liable" is selected, System will calculate tax on purchase invoice, and you are going to pay vendor with tax amount.

    That field belongs to an extension, which I would think could be one of those in the appsource.
