Can't make transferorders via Requisition worksheet. Shipment date is empty

Hi all,

I'm trying to make a transferorder with the requisition worksheet, but it always get me these error:

The shipment date must contain a value in transfer header. But in my requisition worksheet I don't have a field where I can add the shipment date.

AI told me to add it in the transferroutes, but in my transferroutes I can't add these.

Am I missing something?

Kind regards,
SVDB

As a side note to your question, the Req. Worksheet is designed for creating Purchase Orders.  The Planning Worksheet is designed for doing everything else AND purchase orders.  You may want to consider running the Generate Plan in the Planning Worksheet to streamline your Transfer Order creation process.

If you are doing it manually in the Planning Worksheet, you won't gain much, but if you use the Generate Plan with Planning Parameters for the Item at different Locations you can add a lot of efficiency to your Inventory Management.

Can't make transferorders via Requisition worksheet. Shipment date is empty
    Hello,

The error occurs because Business Central requires a Shipment Date on the Transfer Order header for planning and posting, but the Requisition Worksheet doesn’t provide a field for it.

The system normally calculates this date using Transfer Routes (via Shipping Time) or handling times on Location Cards.

If those aren’t set, the date remains blank and triggers the error. To fix it, configure Shipping Time in Transfer Routes or handling times on locations so the system can auto-fill the date, or manually enter the Shipment Date after creating the Transfer Order.
