Production floor execution - Asset management counters recording and how to set up instructions

I have couple of questions related to Production floor execution.

1. If I set up counters in Production floor execution, should the counter record eg. machine hours by itself or should someone enter them manually? At least I have not been able to set it up in a way that it would automatically record eg. machine hours. Should I have some extra feature enabled or set up Asset management counter in certain way?

2. How can I use Instructions? Are these only related to Guides or can I add somewhere some instruction (eg. on released product) and they can be opened from Instructions- button?

I have the same question (0)

    1. You should run "Automatic update of asset counters" to update asset counters: docs.microsoft.com/.../automatic-update-of-asset-counters

    2. You can add "instructions" attachments to either FG released product or route operation and then configure document groups to make them available of SFC terminals: community.dynamics.com/.../ax7-t-amp-a-document-groups

Thanks, automatic update worked. Addiotional question was raised then:
Where from is that Actual value inherited? Aggrerated must be the total running time of a machine (based on Start - Finish times), right?
Both counters in Production floor execution uses same counter, but other is Aggregated and other Actual.

Your test counter was configured to be based on production hours, basically hours posted for the resource via job card journal.

Actual and aggregated hours come from these journals: actual are the hours posted on the current date and aggregated are the total hours accumulated on that counter for a given production asset.
