How can I do bulk create Connections for multiple Accounts to another Account?

I have groups of 5 to 300 Accounts that require to be a 'Member' of another Account using Connections. So far we have had to do this one at time and is proving beyond labourious!

Any advice on how we could perform this as a bulk connect would be beneficial.

    Hi Helen,

You can do bulk import Connection.

At first, please you download the template:

Settings --> Data Management --> Templates for Data Import

After that you can open the downloaded template.

Then for example here I want to link an Account to another Account with role = Partner (in your case is Member, I have example here is Partner, but please use this same way, okay)

    So I just input here:

(You can fill the start date and end date, description, owner as well)

The template here provided the fields that  are actually you can input through the Connection Form manually, so do not worry.

Then, once you import it back to CRM, using the Import Feature, you will see your connection here automatically create 2 records of connection.

You can also have reciprocal records as well, for example Account A is Member of Account B, it does mean Account B is the Group Head of Account A (reciprocal relationship)

My example here is Principal and Gold Partner

So here in the template you need to create the 300 records for each Member Account.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.
