I am trying to run container based sandbox environment for windows 10 but no luck so far.
First I tried the process explained here but after the image gets downloaded and i try to run the image it does not start and I do not get any error.
Second I tried the process explained here but after downloading about 6 gb data in PowerShell i get "unexpected EOF" and I do not see the image listed in docker.

I need help in running container based development environment.

I have the same question (0)

    What did try till now?

a simple docker install is pretty straight forward, I advise you to import the NavContainerHelper Module.

If  you have docker and NavContainerHelper installed pass this into your docker powershell

    New-NavContainer -accept_eula -auth Windows -accept_outdated -containerName ESOTESTCSide2 -imageName mcr.microsoft.com/businesscentral/onprem:14.9.39327.0-de-ltsc2019 -memoryLimit 4G -includeCSide -updateHosts -doNotExportObjectsToText

The command I posted creates a new NAV Container based on the last CSide supported Image.

Im using it daily so it should work. If it does not work then we will have to Troubleshoot.

Beside the good answers already to that thread, let me give add some more basic information.

There was lately a change on how BC works on docker.

Changing the way you run Business Central in docker…

Maybe the new wizard helps you to create a container

New-BcContainerWizard aka Business Central on Docker script generator…

    Hi,

from my opinion, you face an issue with docker on Win10 as there seems not to be an issue with the repository on the BC images.

    When looking at that one:

Error response from daemon: Get registry-1.docker.io/.../: dial tcp: lookup registry-1.docker.io on 192.168.65.1:53: no such host #4884
    https://github.com/docker/for-win/issues/4884

it seems there is a problem with docker or better said a DNS issue reaching that addresses.

I recommend to ask that specific question on the docker github page in order to get some help from the docker experts.
