hello

we have a need to inject a table with content into CRM email before sending to customer.

the challenge is that table content expands or contracts based on customer so cannot hard code a table.

any idea how we can achieve this? can i write a custom workflow DLL for this any suggestion or pointers to resource is much helpful

Thanks in advance.

We implemented similar requirement for one of our client by writing custom workflow, you can write custom workflow to generate html table with your html tags and styles and can place it to email through output parameter.

Above custom utility suggested is released to used for community use, they are not specifically certified from Microsoft, but community use in production as well.

    Hope it will help.

    Hi Likki,

+1 for Aiden Kaskela Query CRM for a Table Custom Workflow.

If for any reason that logic does not work for you and you need something custom, you can develop a plugin on the Post Create or Pre-Send of the email message to generate the content there, or your own Custom Workflow Activity.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Likki,

The tool is developed by a MS Dynamics MVP and covered until MIT license. See the licensing information here:

    Hope this helps.
