I use dynamics 365 and SharePoint Online. Default get a folder created for accounts and projects, and when you create a customer Become a folder documents are placed there made in and for the same accounts. But what I like is that there is a folder and if you have a customer that makes a folder word made and once you get a project is that there is then a folder is created in the folder of that account. But I do not know how to do this exactly.

Can anyone help?

Note, this is translated by google translate from dutch. The original is:Ik heb dynamics 365 en sharepoint online.

    Hello

You may consult your Sharepoint integration issue to Tenfold , it's a great phone to CRM integration and has all of the features you need and more (click to dial, call pop up, creating new lead and follow up task from pop up, handling multiple matches, etc.). It supports several phone systems and CRMs like MS Dynamics. Here's a list of their integrations: www.tenfold.com/.../dynamics

I am Dutch, but the langue here is English, so I'll respond in English.

When configuring the document locations, did you check the option to create folders based on Entity and then chose Account? If not, test this setting. If so, there's nothing much left to do, other than coding your own solution.

I have found the enity document suggestion. But or i did something wrong or it didn't work.

Let me explain better what i want:

I create an account/customer - and the system creates folder:

    S(sharepoint):\name customer\

Than i create an project and link the project to the customer/account - and the system creates folder:

    S:\name customer\name project\

Is that possible? (i'm very new at sharepoint and dynamics) So yes how.

As far as I know, only some default entities are created under the Account / Contact folder if you chose that option during configuration. I'm assuming this doesn't apply for projects.

You could simply test. If you have checked that option, create a document location for a contact under that specific account. If it's created as a subfolder, you're setting is fine. If projects do not share the same behaviour with the same setting, there's no out of the box way to make this work.

I can't find what you mean. Could you be more specific?

Have you ever configured the SharePoint document integration with CRM? If not, please check the docs. Here's a good starting point: msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg334768(v=crm.6).aspx

If so, please review you document settings for SharePoint, make some screenshots and check back here so I can verify your settings.
