I am trying to figure out how to create a "task" for multiple LEADS who are part of a marketing list. I just dont see any way to do it.

Does anyone know how to do this?

I did look at Quick Campaign Andrii. Thank you.

But you can not use Quick Campaign to schedule a "TASK". The only options in a Quick Campaign are: Phone Call, App, Letter, Fax, Email.

Seems like you should be able to do something this simple in Dynamics. However I am stumped.

Yes. I forgot about this limitation of quick campaigns. Then you have 2 ways out:

1. Use Marketing Campaign.

2. Create On-Demand workflow for lead entity that will have one step that will create task for a lead and run this workflow against all marketing list members.

I did try to create a workflow to do this, easy enough right?

But if you create it on the lead entity, it doesn't show up under the available workflows in marketing lists. And you can not create the same workflow for the marketing list entity.

You could run the workflow on all marketing list members one by one, but i am talking hundreds of leads and that isn't an option.

Do you know of anything showing how this would work being done in a Marketing Campaign?

Kirk, yes it is really easy.

To use workflow created for Lead you should do following:

1. Open Marketing List you want to distribute tasks for.

2. Open Associated View of Marketing List Member like it is shown on following image:

3. Select all members and on toolbar you will get run workflow button. Using that button you can run on-demand workflow on multiple leads.
