CRM 2015 Error when trying to create a PHONE activity record - even as Administrator

My Users are concerned they can not create or edit a phone record Activity.

I have checked the below and ensured that the security is set up correctly and it is.

I have the 'god' security of administrator and customise and it wont even allow myself to raise a phone call.

I have seen this issue for users reported but not Admin users... please Help.

regards

Vanessa

    Hello,

That's weird. Log tells that your users do not have privileges to Read ActivityPointer entity.  Is it CRM Online or On-Premise?

check CallingUser: 46ec86a2-011a-e211-b139-b499bafdbfca, does he has permission entity (ObjectTypeCode: 4200)

Please mark the answer as verified if it was helpful.

    Hi Andrii

Its 2015 online last update may I think it was.

This log was taken from my details and this is why I am baffled.

As all admin rights have full Organisation access.

Ok. If you use Online you should get in touch with MS Support. I don't see any reason why user with admin privileges can experience such errors.

    Hi Guys

just a update on this issue.

Although all the logs indicated a security privilege issue  It turns out that  a workflow had been activated relating to phone activity and set to User  rather than Organisation that was causing this issue.

Once we deactivated the issues went away. We then activated and the issue returned. We then changed to Organization and the issue went away.
