How to select by plugin the value of an option set

Hi guys

My question is this how can I select the unasigned value of an option set by plugin

My option set has 4 values but I need to select the unasigned but it doesn't have any numeric value

is this posible?

I need to select this by code

Hi Alan (again :).

You can set the attribute to a null value:

theEntity["the_field"] = null;

Set the attribute value to null:

entity["<attribute name>"]=null;

Alan,

Seems like duplicate post, you can just set the attribute to null:

entity["optionsetfield"] = null

For the new record you can also set the default value in the customization to Null, don't set to anyone.
