Another process has updated the batch table. The system will automatically cancel your changes

Posted on by 185

I was in AP and under payment selection putting some invoices on hold and I got the following error System Message 6900 "another process has updated the batch table. The system will automaticall cancel your changes" and I lost everything I was working on. What causes this to happen and how canI prevent it?

 Regards,
 Ebenezer

Sounds like some other part of Solomon, or a third-party program, is not handling things correctly when someone else is using the system.

You said you lost "everything"... double check that the batch did not automatically go on hold.  You should only have lost the last invoice you entered, and the rest should still be there.
