Hi,
I am trying to attach SOP Blank History Invoice report from Dynamics GP. This report has been modified but when I am sending it from Dynamics GP I am encountering this issues the report being sent is not the modified one and also on outlook it is being shown only in the outbox.
Before i encountered an issue that a word template should be assigned which i arranged from the template maintenance and configuration. Could this affect the modified report?

Thanks for this I manage to modify the original standard GP report and the client is fine with it. One problem I have is that when I am modifying the report in Microsoft Word the description is being left blank once I send the report by email.
By any chance how can I add a field so data will be visible under item description.

Hello Alex,
Is the modified template shown under the status of Original in Report Template Maintenance? You can see this status when selecting the Report (it shows in parentheses after the name).
If so, you will actually want to setup the system as if you are using the default GP report, i.e. setup the Alternate/Modified Forms and report for the default.
You can also copy the modified report to the modified status by exporting it, then importing it back in under the same report name but with (Modified) after it.

I have tried both option DOCX and also PDF.
They are being sent from GP but in my outlook i will find the attached email in outbox and also the template will be standard GP rather than modified with the logo.

Hi,
Outlook has been configured, when I embed the invoice in the body of the email and not as attachment it will send fine.
I even sent a test mail from the same system outlook and it also worked fine.

Please check if the Outlook is been configured on GP Installed System.
The issue description which you mentioned seems to be the limitation that your Outlook is having restriction in sending the mail.
This may be due to Outlook not configured.
If you are sure that the Outlook is configured, then i suggest you an workaround that try to send a test mail from the same system's outlook.
If this works, then there might be the issue with GP eMail Configuration.
