Can not create a Fetch data source is Visual Studio Reports Project

Can anyone help me to resolve the error Unable to connect to data source 'DataSource1'.The connection to server "https://xxxx.crm6.dynamics.com" could not be established. Make sure that the connection string and credentials are correct, and try again. This error occurs when creating a data source in a n SSRS report project.

This error occurs instantly, almost as though no network communication occurs.

I have tried the below connection strings

https://xxxx.crm6.dynamics.com
https://xxxx.crm6.dynamics.com;uniqueOrdId
https://disco.crm6.dynamics.com;uniqueOrdId
disco.crm6.dynamics.com;

I have installed

Visual Studio 2015
SQL Server Data Tools - Visual Studio 2015 14.0.61712.50
Report Authoring Tool - 8.2.0002.0248

Did you try setting your connection string using the Edit button and entering credentials?

Hi sfdjngsnfhdjgnfd,

Try:

https://disco.crm6.dynamics.com;xxxxxxxxxxx

Replace xxxxxxxxxxx with the unique instance name that can be found under CRM->Setting->Customization-> Developer resource

1.Does't it worked before?

2. Can you try to connect to different CRM environment to make sure issue is not with CRM instance.
