Issue with Quick Create Forms in Chrome

I am experiencing issues with the Quick Create forms after updating Chrome to the latest version (65.0.3325.146). The forms do not render properly (see the screen cap), also I cannot see any Javascript errors. I have tried clearing the cache but that didn't fix the issue.

I am running CRM 365 on-premise version  8.2.1.176. Please advise if there is a workaround for this.

Thanks.

    Hi Iasa,

The problem is that the release that you are talking about was just released 5 days ago, and a new browser should be tested with the various application that it uses.

I think your best approach is either different browser, rollback your Chrome update or contact Microsoft Support regarding this issue.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello,

Have you tried on other browsers?

    Hi Iasa,

Are you getting error any error in chrome in console?

Also check in fiddler  seems something is running in the code which is not supported chrome browser.

No errors logged in the console. Same network requests are made in both Edge and Chrome with response code 200.

Further to this, I can see the quick create iframe is loaded into the document but the height is set 0px in Chrome. The quick create form becomes visible if I manually change the height.

    Green Box - Edge

I confirm the issues. Happens only in single machine with Chrome  65.0.3325.146 since last Thursday, 8th  of March.

Solution: Switch to Mozilla, IE 11 or Edge.

    Hi StepH,

Not really, I just updated a default css file as a workaround, will have to undo this once there is a proper solution.

FYI... I updated the following css file =>

    CRMWeb\_controls\refreshform\flyoutdialog.css

    Added a min-height:300px property to iframe.mscrm-globalqc-iframe

    Cheers.

    Hi Iasa,

Many thanks for the tip, just an additional question.

I  tried to find the css file, but didn't find it  (I'm working on the online version), Do I have to create an alternative CSS and load it on form load ?

    thanks for your support

    Hi StepH,

I haven't tried this myself, but you can probably set the css property via an onload javascript event.

You will need to call this from all the quick create forms.

    Cheers.
