Add new field in annotation entity

Hi,

I am trying to add new field in annotation (notes) entity , But it is system generated entity (Read-Only) so i can't add new field. Please suggest how to add new field in annotation entity(notes)?

    I have seen customer user a totally custom entity for these type of requirements or use SharePoint, for example Documents or Attachment and keep these document related specific attributes there and have notes enabled for attachment. This way notes attached is related to particular record type and you can combine them for report or any order purpose.

    I am using annotation entity on contact form, when i attach the document then i need to identify document type like (Passport , Travel document , PAN etc. )

    Hi,

    What is your requirement, if you could share it here may be someone can help you, annotation entity is not customization, so it's not possible but there could be some workaround for your requirements

    HI,

    That is not Customizable entity, you can't add new fields in notes entity
