Access denied to field Birth Place (Birthplace) in table Vendors (VendTable)

We have a few users that are getting this popup warning when navigating from the Accounts Payable > All Vendors > Vendor Inquiry window to view Invoice History and matching details.  They don't get the warning popup if they go directly to the Invoice History and matching details window.  Any thoughts on what may be causing this warning from the All Vendors window only?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi partner,

Could you provide details of the warning popup like screenshot etc. Please include your dynamics product name if convenient.

    Hi Pamela,

    I assume its related to D365 F&O.

If yes, the error is due to AOS Authorization property set on the VendTable for the field BirthPlace. This property is one of the features of table permission framework.

In order to avoid this error, you need to add this field under your custom security privileges.

Refer to standard privileges like VendBirthDateMaintain and VendBirthDateView.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

    D365 F&O Version 10.21.1199.38765

I added the Privilege [view] to my custom Role [SE View Only].  And the user is still getting the same error message.  Only when navigating from the All Vendors window.

After adding that have you published the changes?

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

After publishing also it didn't work?

If not, try doing it in the backend.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

Yes, after publishing it still isn't working.  I'll need to get somebody else to try to resolve on the backend.  I'm still really new at this and don't have access to the backend.

    Thank you,

    Pamela

    Hi ,

I am also facing the same(Access deined to birthplace) issue. Can anyone guide me to solve this issue.

    Thank you!!!

The issue appears only in our custom Duty that we have set up for full View Only access.  I have narrowed it down to Privilege [view].  Once I remove it, then I get the Warning for the Vendtable fields in this Privilege [view].  Once I remove it, then I get the warning for the [Tax1099RegNum] associated with this Privilege [view].  If I remove those Privileges I don't get the Warning messages.  We have determined that users don't need access to any of these fields and the Warnings don't prevent them from getting to what they need.  But I would love to know what might be causing the issue to begin with.

Any thoughts or suggestions on what to look for in our custom duty that is causing the conflict would be greatly appreciated.

My co-worker thinks it might have something to do with Privilege [view] which I think has to do with Brazil taxes.  But I don't understand how or why it would affect the other 3 Privileges.
