    Hi SDDXB.

Yes, as Jason mentioned before, there are no build checks for selling items with 0 quantity in the transactión.

The easies fix you can do is a small add-on, a hook that will be activated on tendering F12 and before the tender screen is shown, will go through the transaction entries and check if there is any with 0 quantity and if yes, will not allow the tendering to continue, will pop up a small message with the error to inform the cashier and return to the main POS screen, without showing the tender screen...

It's not too dificult to do this... Mail me if you need help (antonijo_todorovik@hotmail.com)

    Kind regards, A.

    Hi Jason,

Yes , we can add item and change the Qty to 0 , still transaction will proceed to tender screen. This option can be possibly misuse by cashiers to print receipt without actually adding inventory or tender.

Any fix you can think of ?

Just to make sure I am understanding you correctly when you say 0 Quantity. Do you mean that if you were to add an item the change the quantity to 0 you can go to the tender screen?

Or are you seeing something more along the lines of no items on the transaction then going into the tender screen on it own without you pressing anything?

I know you can press F12 with no items or a 0 quantity and the tender window will come up with no warnings because there are not built in checks for that.

If it his happening on its own there is likely a problem with the keyboard and the F12 key or Enter key is being read when it is not being press. In which case the solution is to replace the keyboard.
