I have users that are set up as Sales, that can use the "tell Me" to find the Chart of accounts and G/L. Is there a way to hide this based on roles?
You can remove his / her permission to see any Chart of Accounts and GL page.

You can take away the page only, so they can still read the data, but they will not be able to view it.
