So I need to start developing a Silverlight application. I build something extremely simply just to make sure it actually works in CRM.
Sure enough it fails.
I decide to import the managed demo solutions that come with the SDK. Surely they will work. Right? Wrong. Failed again.
Seriously.
So every time I try to preview the HTML container I get a big blue button that says "Install Silverlight". Well, clicking on it runs an installer that tells me it can't install because I already have it installed on my machine.
Okay. So at least now I am super-sure I have the software I need.
I try to preview the XAP file directly. I get a different blue button that also says "Install Silverlight".
Guess what happens when I try to place either of these Web Resources in a form. Yup. FAILED.
So... anybody out there know why?
