Hello If got a problem with my CRM 4.0 installation. Everytime I select a value in a lookup-field it looks like nothing is selected. There is just the Icon of the linked-entity in the field but no text. After saving the contact/account the text is in the field. Here a Screenshot: Anybody got an idea? cheers!

     Hi,

it seems that the primary attribute (for contact fullname)  of selected record is emty.

Did you find a solution to this problem?  I am experiencing what seems to be the same issue.

    1. I have an entity that has a relationship to the contact.  The form has a lookup field to the contact.

    2. When I click on the lookup field button, it opens the lookup search prompt.

    3. When I select a contact and the lookup search prompt closes, it only shows the icon, but not the name of the contact. (The selected contact does have a fullname.)

    4. When I save the form and the page refreshes, it shows the expected value in the lookup field.

The CRM environment has several orgs, but this issue is happening in one of the orgs.

    Hi

Have you used the tool to copy the views?

    This fixed my problem:

Export Customizing of the Lookupentity (eg Lookup to Contact export contact). Search for the Lookupview (<SavedQuery>). In the grid tag there is a Parameter Preview. Change this value from 1 to 0.

    Hope it helps
