How to configure the activity feed?

I have only custom entities and would like to feed them to the web resource mypersonal wall but i dont know how.

I found an answer on https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh547386.aspx#PluginsAndWorkflows can someone please walk me through this?

    Hello,

    To enable activity feed for your custom entity you need to do two below steps:

    1. First enable Activity Feed Configuration for your custom entity Settings->Activity Feed Configuration

    > Select your entity and then click on Activate button

    2. Setup workflow to create auto post on specific operations. You can refer below post for the same,

    Thank you very much for your post. I activated the custom entity then created a work flow in real time.

    However it is still not updating in my activity feed. Am I supposed to add some activity feed rules for this custom entity? Also, I noticed on whats new the default view has been filtered for 5 entities only. Unfortunately  i cannot customize that to show the custom entity.

    any idea why this is not showing in my feed?
