Rich text for appointment shows HTML tags in timeline card

Hi,

I have turned on the rich text editor for Appointment under controls in the form properties and it works wonderfully in the appointment form both before and after its saved.

After doing this however, when creating new appointments, the timeline card on the client which the appointment was created on also shows the html tags. See picture below.

The marked appointment card in the timeline is when rich text editor control is turned on, and the uppermost created 14:30 is after turning it off again.

Have anyone else ran into this problem? And managed to get rid of the html tags in the timeline whilst keeping the rich text editor for appointments?

Looking forward to your replies.

Regards,

Marius

    Hello,

Unfortunately, If an attribute of Entity is a rich text type, styles applied to text in that field are stored as html tags so this issue is by design. There is no OOB way to remove the HTML tag and keep the rich text editor turned on.

I found out that CRM will add the tags if you don't provide some on your own.

Therefore, you can just wrap your message around <div></div> tags and that way the undesired tags won't appear:
