Dynamics PSA Duration field

Hello,

Can i change the scheduled duration field of project task without changing the start and end dates?

If So how can this be achieved?

    Yes, change to manual by clicking the icon on the left of the row.

    Hello Ausbiscuit,

    Even when you change the task to manual, duration automatically sets to the difference between start and end dates. This is the default behaviour it seems.

    You are correct, the effort can be changed though (see insert).

    What is the business reason for not wanting duration to reflect difference between start and end dates.
