Multicurrency and USD exchange rate variation

Hi,

We are facing an issue with our customer's statements because we use USD to do business (purchases and sales) but our local customers pay us in the local currency (DOP) at the current USD rate on the date of payment. That leave us with small (decimals) balances on their statements due to the currency exchange.

For example:

- Invoice is for USD$105.95.

- USD rate of the day is 45.55.

- Customer pays USD$105.95 x 45.55 = DOP $4,826.02

When the payment is applied to the customer's account in USD (DOP $4,826.02 / 45.55 = US$105.9499) the balance of US$0.0001 remains unpaid and starts acumulating with the balances of other invoices, and now we have bigger unpaid balances of USD$0.1 and USD$0.2 in some of our customer's accounts.

Any ideas as to how to clean small balances off the customer's statements?

Thanks!

When applying the payments, use the Write Off to clear the account.
