Hide Standard view in Saved views

Is there a way to hide the Standard view in saved views on a given page? We want to restrict what the user can see using the personalization, but if they have access to the Standard view, they can see everything in that view which is more than we want.

Hide Standard view in Saved views

Thank you, Andre and Mohamed, for your responses. I will discuss with our customer the possibility of a customization to the hiding the standard view vs. field security. I think it would be better to restrict the views vs. field security due to the number of fields involved.

Hide Standard view in Saved views

Hi Trent,

I think that you cannot hide the standard View. But you can configure a security role that permit you to hide some fields to users.

Hide Standard view in Saved views

Hi Trent,

Out of the box, there is no option to hide the standard views. You can use field level security to hide particular fields without a customization.

You would need to go for a customization to hide standard views. You can achieve it e.g. with eXtensible Data Security or another option using some X++ coding.
