GUID of dashboard in different oragnisations

Hi All,

I have two organisations which have same dashboards i.e. I created in one org and then exported to another. I observe that GUID for both dashboards is same.

Now, My PL needs a documented proof of the same. Can you share some links with me preferably from Microsoft saying the same.

I have seen on my client's organisation. We have two environments ET and SIT on which i have compared the GUID of dashboards.

Provided you deploy your dashboard using a solution, the formid of the dashboard should remain the same.

When you say that you 'observe the GUID for both dashboards is same' - what do you mean exactly?

I've not seen any documentation that specifically states that the formid should be the same.
