Hi All.

Is it possible to use a non O365 mailbox to send emails?

One of our companies are still on an exchange server and we are able to send test mails to the mailbox created but we can not send emails to customers outside the domain.

I get the error message : Relay access denied

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

    Obviously, it's possible to use non O365 mailbox to send emails from Business Central Like : google , yahoo ...

    Your issue is related to relay access, I believe it's an internal problem and you should analyse this with the IT.

    Yes  Please configure smtp setup & can utilise  functionality as per notification setup

    Yes. Just configure the SMTP Mail Set-up with the credentials of your host SMTP. Also, you can change the email address of the Users on User Set-up if you have non-microsoft emails.

    Hello,

    Yes, that should be possible. For relaying problems, you need to contact your internal IT or external provider that does host the SMTP server.
