Is it possible to hide certain container numbers of a consumer product?

Salt is considered a consumable item in our system. We want to ensure that during the consumption booking process, the employee is required to select a specific container number. Is it possible to hide certain container numbers for consumption while making specific container numbers visible?

I’ll explain our concern with an example. We have five pallets of salt, and we want to manually debit the consumption in the oc menu. For this we need to select the "container number" (see picture 2). Currently, we can choose from all five containers.

Is it possible to display only one container to prevent accidental selection of the wrong one? I looked into the bin code to see if we could adjust it for the containers that should not be used until they are needed. However, I wasn't able to find a solution.

    Hello,

Because this is not coming from the standard business central base app, it is difficult to provide a solution.
It is best to look for the app publisher for enhancement.

container number is not an out of box field. Normally, if this field is exposed, users will be able to see all of the data for it. So it means user either see all container numbers or see no container numbers. It is possible to use security filter to hide certain value, but this won't help in your case.

Whether it is customization or standard function, I think you can try Security Filter first.

Hope this can give you some hints.
    Thanks.
