Material shortages in subassemblies

We have recently gone live with Dynamics Finance & Operations and are struggling to find a simple way to see a complete list of part shortages that are inside of the production order and its subassemblies without going through each sub assembly individually.

Hi Isomc,

Unfortunately there is no such standard report. We could be able to see it by operations wise in Production orders. Click on Routes in Production order screen Under production details.

Now Click on materials tab

On Specific operation we get the material availability and shortages.

Hi Isomc,

Have you already investigated the workspace 'Production floor management'?

When you open the workspace 'Production floor management', click on 'Production orders to release'. In this overview Dynamics shows the material availability per production order.

our struggle is finding a total view of shortages for the top assembly and all the children of the subassembly or subsequent children another layer down, etc. In essence a shortage by a flattened BOM.
