Problem logging into GP with "sa" username

Hi all,

 I had a question in relation to logging on to Microsoft Dynamics GP.  I don't know anything about the program, but my roommate is using it for a school project (since she's a mac user and needs my computer to run it) and when I upgraded to Windows 7 every time she tries to log on with the "sa" username on the "Dynamics GP EDU" server an error comes up that says:

"A get/change first operation on table 'SY_Registration' (45)". 

When I click more info, it says:

"Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server]Database 'DYNAMICS' cannot be opened due to inaccessible files or insufficient memory or disk space.  See the SQL Server errorlog for details."

The problem is, I don't know what this means at all, and when I looked up information about the SQL server, I couldn't find any program to use with Windows 7.  Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

    hi,

    please ask your roommate if she was able to login to GP before even without connecting her computer to a network somewhere.

    on the otherhand go to all programs>Microsoft  SQL SErver>SQL server management studio.

    Great Plains is a client server application and we need to find out first if your friend's computer has both GP application and database.

    besides memory and harddisk space you may also check control panel, ODBC, system DSN and select Dynamics GP EDU and find out if which server this ODBC was pointed to.
