I have an invoice that needs prices changed, but can this be done after the fact. We sold 135 of a certain item for $4.00 each, but after the invoice was processed, we found that we should have entered the price at $2.00 each. Any way this can be changed after the fact, or is it a whole lot of trouble? Thanks!

I have the same question (0)Just by general "Retail Best Practices", the original receipts in all systems must be prohibited from being changed, as allowing this could lead to too much fraud.
You can fix this a few ways. Assuming this is after the day has already been closed out, the one that would probably be the most clear for future reporting and records would be to return the original transaction, and ring it up on a new receipt correctly.
