Hello,
Randomly yesterday I noticed that the spacing was way too big on the form in between the field name and where the user enters the information.
See screenshot:
The field name spacing is set to 125, where you can see the "B&P Add-on Project Number" get cut off, so I know the field name spacing is not an issue. It's happening both in our dev and live environment. I actually didn't even change anything when I noticed this issue.
I reset my browser settings/cookies and that didn't help. I then checked it on other people's computers and on both browsers IE and chrome and they had the same issues.
Anyone else have this issue? Thoughts on what it may be?
Thanks

We have the same thing.
We noticed this happen when MSFT automatically applied update to version 1611/1612 (version 1612 with CRM & DB 8.2.2.1611). We know it was the MSFT update as the instances hadn't had any recent changes, but could see a version change on the backups.

Hi HodgesW, we have the same problem on our CRM all regions started from yesterday as well ( March 19, 2018). I believe this is environmental changes done somehow by MS. our CRM areon cloud.

Hi Hodges,
if possible could you please put full screenshot of your form design here by going to form editor.
Seems you are using one column tab , you need to go for two column or there column tab to reduce default space.
In my first step screenshot you can see there is an radio to change two column three column. Make it tow column and make width like 50 % , 50%.
Hope this helps.
I think i wasn't clear in my original post.
The issue is that there is a huge gap in between the field label and the field entry area (see black box drawn on image below).
This is happening regardless of the label size. I was using the cut-off text in my original post as an example that my field label spacing was not extremely large (which would cause large spacing between the field label and the field entry area).
I checked all the other formatting (100% for the tab area, left alignment, etc). I also didn't even make any updates to the production environment. A few days ago it was completely fine and now today the spacing is huge.
I guess I came here to check if any other online users had this issue or if it's something just related to our company's computers.
Thanks for the help.
Hi Hodges,
Sorry , I have missed one point , yes there is limitation of the label size but I would expect your label should display , you can follow my step also check below reference - Hope this helps.

Hi,
There isn't anyway of doing this other than html using web resources . See community.dynamics.com/.../replacing-a-field-label-in-microsoft-dynamics-crm-with-an-html-web-resource

Hi Hodges,
Three things you need to check -
Step1 : Select the tab where the form section is belongs to , reduce the percentage of width of the column where your form section belongs to. If its first column then reduce column 1 width. Make sure total number of with is 100%.
Step2 : Select the form section inside tab and set field label width as per your requirement. If you decrease your label will not show fully as expected behavior and it will increase the space between field area and label so make sure step 1 you need to reduce in that case.
Step3: You need to make field alignment is left .
Hope this helps
