Power BI deletermine Environment and company for BC data source

Hi All

When creating a new data source in power BI you can select the environment and company. However there is no reference once created. How do you check the environment and company in PBI desktop and PBI online service? For example I want to create two versions of the same report for two companies in BC?

This is in the Power-BI-Environment-and-company.pngquery editor for the data source

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

Maybe you get more traction if you ask this question in one of the PowerBi forums?

    Thank you.

    Here are a few tips:

How Do I: Publish a Power BI report to another BC tenant? – think about IT

Business Central Power BI Multi Environment template – think about IT

So basically, you can create parameters for environment and company in Power Query.

Thanks Steven that solved my problem editing in Power Query Advanced editor.

That's what I was looking. I assume that the company/environment settings cannot be changed in Power BI online service

The the company/environment settings can be changed in Power BI online service, if you created them as parameters. In the service, you can edit values of parameters.
