BC On-premises <-> D365 Sales synch: auto coupling new items

Hi,

We've set up the integration between our Business Central on-premise and D365 for Sales (through CDS).

At the moment, we need to couple newly created Items in Business Central before they are available in D365. Everything is going fine when doing this manually.
When we disable 'Synch. only coupled records' for the ITEM-PRODUCT integration, we get this error when triggered by the job queue:

An error occurred when communicating with Common Data Service. Detailed description: OrganizationServiceFault

The record is created in D365 for Sales, everything looks fine except 'Default Price List', which is empty.
In BC the coupling isn't saved to the record that's created in D365 for Sales.

Does someone know how we can solve this issue and can make it possible that new product in BC are fully synchronized automatically?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

The Default Price List should be synched. When you manually sync, does the Price List synch successfully? Is this a standard out of the box integration or has it been modified since initial setup.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

The default price list is synched when doing a manual sync. When disabling 'Synch. only coupled records' for ITEM-PRODUCT and syncing through Job Queue, the price list is not synched.

There is nothing changed in the initial setup.

    Hello,

Thank you for the feedback. At this point, I think it is best is you do raise a support call via your CSP / Dynamics partner to Microsoft support.

    Thanks.

    Hi Benjamin,

Did you end up finding a solution to this? I am facing a similar issue.

We are trying to sync BC Items to Dynamics Products. It seems all other data (eg, Customers) sync and couple to Dynamics correctly.

When going to run the Item sync I get the error "An error occurred when communicating with Common Data Service. Detailed description: OrganizationServiceFault". It creates the BC item in Dynamics, however in BC it doesn't recognise the coupling to the Dynamics product.

I'm a bit stuck with this and unsure what the issue or solution is
