Hello

I'm new to Business Central

My requirement is Add New Action to Business Central Home page after Excel Reports

I've created the extension called Client Inquiry [ Page + Table], It's working.

I want an action [Client Inquiry] in home page

How to achieve this ?

Hello Ananda,

As you want to add your custom action just after "Excel Report" action on "Business Manager" role center you can add below code by creating an extension of "Business Manager Role Center" page:

pageextension 80019 BusinessManagerRoleCenter extends "Business Manager Role Center"

{

actions

{

// Add changes to page actions here

addafter("Excel Reports")

{

action("Client Inquiry")

{

ApplicationArea = All;

RunObject = page ClientEnquiry;

}

}

}

}

But the interesting part here is when you look for your action on the Role Center page this action may show before the "Excel Report" action.

Thank you for your response It worked for Sandbox, the extension appears in home page

I deployed to production [Manage Ext. Upload], No error,

But the extension does not appear in home page I refreshed the page few times, but no luck.

Strang part is - in One tenant it's working, in other it's not.

Any idea ?

Before deploying the extension on production did you included the permission.xml file in your extension app with the new report extension id or not? It's important to add permisson.xml file in your extension when it is ready for production deployment.
