Hi,

Is there any update available for Email router to work on Dynamics 365 v 9.0 online? I am running email router for Dynamics 365 v 8.2 and wanted to know if we have any update version of email router  to support latest version of Dynamics 365(v 9.0). I cant use server side sync.

Thanks

Email Router is depreciated "The Microsoft Dynamics CRM Email Router is deprecated for December 2016 update for Dynamics 365 (online and on-premises) or later." I will suggest you to plan to migrate to SSS, you have to do it sooner or later.

The email router has been deprecated in the last release of Dynamics CRM:

technet.microsoft.com/.../dn265924.aspx Dynamics Email Router is deprecated

Why are you not able to use Server Side Sync?

We can't use sss because we have multiple office 365 tenants with different domains that we use with our single crm instance. Sss doesn't work for that and pop doesn't work for office 365 exchange accounts either.

Please tell me there is a solution? On fine with using the crm router, but I'm having issues with 9

That is no longer true, Microsoft reversed their decision on that.

I however, have not seen any posts about an updated Email Router utility.

That only references the Outlook Client and doesn't speak about the CRM router. I was able to use the Server Side Sync for POP3, but I had to use the Gmail Suite for it to work. :)

Hard to believe you cant use a Microsoft product to have email queues with domains not associated with the same office 365 Tenant.

You can download email router for version 9 from here:

    www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

Microsoft decided not to deprecate email router at this point in time...

    Hope this helps.
