Baseline CRM 2013 Performance

Hi All -

Does anyone know of any tools to baseline the performance of a CRM 2013 deployment?

Any processes or tips?  What would be key performance counters to set and track?

In the coming weeks I'll be deploying our CRM 2013 Prod deployment and I would like to baseline performance during testing so that I have something to compare to a few months after go live.

I was planning on using the Performance Toolkit for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 but the download link for the tool seems to be dead.

Thanks.

    Hi,

there is not a specific tool that will cover all.

    you can try this:

    www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx;WT.mc_id=rss_allproducts_dynamics

but also you need to consider the network structure, bandwidth, for the SQL server you can use SQL server tool like profiler

    Did you add any customisations?

Check also this article about diagnostic:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/crminthefield/archive/2012/04/09/using-the-crm-diagnostics-page-to-capture-network-performance.aspx

CRM has a diagnostic page that will give you some preformance numbers

Thanks Arpita for the additional info.

Are these valid for 2013 or do we have an updated documentation for 2013?
