Password on Override Rates not working

In the multicurrency setup for the company, the users have checked the Multicurrency Option to Override Rate and tested entering a password. However, the users are being allowed to override the rate even when entering the incorrect password. This is in GP 2016. Is there an issue with the password not working?

Hello,

I tested this on my GP 2016 system and I am not able to recreate. Even as the sa user, if I type in the password wrong for overriding the Rate, I cannot change it. If you have any customizations or Third Parties, I would attempt to rule those out first.
