Multiple Customer Numbers for Shipping?

Hi:

A Customer Card can have multiple Ship To Address Codes.

One of that customer's locations could be 50 miles away, another may be 100 miles away, and yet another may be 500 miles away.

This sort of difference in distances can lead to the need to make the Order Date and Due Date settings different, somehow, for each Ship To Address Code tied to a customer within a Manufacturing environment.

But, since you cannot configure Date settings within a Ship To Address Code, is the only workaround to create multiple Customer Cards for the same customer based on location such as CUST50, CUST100, and CUST500?

Thanks!

John

    hi

where products or services are to be delivered or supplied.

    Perform these steps:

Go to the "Customers" page of Business Central and select the customer for whom you wish to set multiple Shipping Address Codes.

On the "Customer Card" page, go to the "Navigation" tab and select "Shipping Addresses".

On the "Shipping Addresses" page, you can add, edit or delete shipping address codes for the selected customer. Each shipping address code can have unique address information, including name, address, city, state/province, postal code and country/region.

Once the shipping address codes have been set up, they can be used when creating sales orders or invoices for the customer. When creating a sales order or invoice, select the appropriate shipping address code from the "Shipping Address Code" field in the document header or line item.

By setting up multiple Shipping Address Codes for a customer, you can easily manage and track deliveries or services provided to different locations or addresses associated with the customer.

    Thanks!

Is there a way of tying any of these codes to a certain amount of time either before or after the Order Date, Due Date, even Shipment Date?

Hi, have you tried the Shipping Agent Service Code feature, this can be set in Ship-to Address.
