Pulling up a receipt/purchase from the transaction number?

If a customer comes in knowing the transaction number of her purchase but not the date or POS station, how would a cashier pull up and view what was purchased?

No customer was assigned to the purchase at the time, so we couldn't pull it up by her name.

Hi,

There are two ways cashier can achieved this

- From Journal view cashier can check the transaction number by giving the period. (If its like 2 years old then use below option)

- From daily sales report in Store operation manager, Remove the date filter and add only the transaction number filter.

You could generate a detailed sales summary and search for that specific transaction number in your filters on the left side of the report's options. Once the report is generated, you should be able to double click on the transaction number and see the receipt in question.
